Temperatures were elevated this weekend, luckily the humidity dropped making my weekend runs survivable. Conditions are also tinder dry here as they are throughout BC and I shudder to think all it would take to burn out my favourite trails (and residences bordering the park) is a careless cigarette. Please folks be safe out there! For everyone's sake.
Took myself for a beautiful, hot run (26C) along the Thompson Rivers Trail late this morning, past the celebrations in the park and through the crowds of people downtown enjoying their vacations and Stat days. Great to see so many people come out to these events!
Finished up with a pint on the Noble Pig patio! Hope you got out and enjoyed a beautiful summer day where ever you were.
